Welcome to a unique art project in Alsgruvan near Gnesta.

On 30/6, a cake of soft and fluffy hazelnut biscuit filled with orange curd and embraced by nougat chocolate mousse will find its place in this cool and mysterious mine.

Alsgruvan or Mälby mine is an old closed mine in Mälby-säteri. Around the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century, copper and nickel ore were mined in this mine. Most Swedish mines were iron mines, so it is an unusual mine in Sweden.

Remember to bring tall rubber boots as there is decimetre-deep water right at the entrance and a bit further in. Flashlight is recommended.

Drop-in: 13:00 - 15:00
